That’s assuming, of course, we call this a ghost story, because in all honesty, there isn’t much of a story - paranormal or otherwise - to The Innkeepers. What’s not so fitting, thanks in part to her name and plain looks (can also add how damn annoying she is), is she is also one of the creepier things going on in this haunted house / ghost story picture. It is, therefore, a fitting name then for the boy-haircut having, wearing the same dull clothes every day, ghost hunting protagonist in Ti West’s “scarefest” The Innkeepers (even though she doesn’t do any needlepoint). For me, Claire conjures up an image of a sad, homely girl whiling away the hours, in a rocker, crocheting a sweater. It’s not, however, nearly as bad as Claire is.

The pine Marten has been recently refurbished and upon arrival our first impression was WOW.We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff and booked in we were staying for 2 nights 14th to 16th November on a room only basis, we proceeded to our room but were a bit disappointed as the room had not been serviced so back down stairs to inform reception we could have had another room but opted to have a drink chill and wait for the room to be ready. The rooms have been tastefully refurbished very comfortable and nice and warm good quality bedding nice comfortable bed.I can't comment on the food as we did not eat there but the food did look nice and the place is very nice.I would have given 5 stars had it not been for being given the keys for a room that was not ready but also the loud music in the bar that we could hear over the top of the tv I did mention this on checkout and was told they were still working on getting the right level so at least it is being seen to.Alice is an unflattering name for a woman.
